About Myisha J. Blackman
I work as an interpreter and my current obsession is the biblical first-century Greco-Roman world. With one seemingly benign spark of curiosity I’ll, with glee, disappear down a rabbit hole until my mind is blown. My favorite body part is my ears because they’ve formed how I think about myself and see the world.
My dates have learned that dinner with me usually includes an autopsy of the movie we just watched. Friends be messed up as I jump from the Hasmoneans to smoked salmon pappardelle in the same conversation. Folks, on this adventure called recovery we’re dealing with serious stuff, so scooze me if I laugh while we discuss heavy things.
We’ve got plenty to talk about. And if a truth hits just right, I may slip into a Johnny Gill impersonation or mimic one of the saints and say,”My, my, my…”
